How We Began
When I founded my investment management services firm in October 2010, choosing a name was an easy decision: Adele Financial, named after my mother, Adele Wiseman Hollingsworth (7/21/1921 – 11/28/2009). A single child who lost her father at the age of eight, she was raised by her mother and went on to graduate college and become a high school math teacher. My mother, who raised five of us—me being the youngest—instilled in us love, compassion, discipline, and a strong moral compass, values I carry with me in my investment practice every day.
The name "Adele," of German origin, means "noble" or "nobility." I am proud to honor my mother's memory and character through Adele Financial, and it is a privilege to carry her legacy forward in everything I do.
